Martinis as far as the eye can see

Friday was entertaining, first we went to the show which was interesting in that it was new, I must admit some of the slightly forced clapping and things was a bit much but once it got rolling it was rather good. Next time a few drinks before hand would take the edge of things. The person I went with was terribly well dressed, showing off her lovely legs to excellent effect. I really should come up with a name for her, I would say 'the writer' but I do meet rather a lot of them, so perhaps that wouldn't be such a good name.

After the show we said hello to the various people in the bar that we knew. Before dashing off for some food, as we both were absolutely starving. We ended up in some place that she knew and ate an awful lot of oysters while sipping at the best bloody mary's in London (she said that and they were very good) after that we skipped over to a bar for a couple of Watermelon Martinis. The chap in the bar recognised her so we got even more strange drinks sent over including some frothy shots that were awfully nice.

This bar closed after a bit so we stumbled (it was getting to the stumbling period of the evening) to her local place and got some strange martinis that had coffee as a key part of it. They were rather good and perked things up. We danced a bit and while we were strutting about a couple took our seats in the booth, pulled the curtains closed and starting having sex. The bouncers got called in to get them to leave at which point the lady was rather undressed...

We sat somewhere else after that and chatted about a few things and established that this was actually a date. Which rather changes things don't you think?

Once the cocktails were finished we left as it was getting early and the booze was taking it's toil. We said our goodbyes and she kissed me briefly on the lips.
I caught a bus home, and ended up walking back with some girl who was only visiting London so wasn't exactly sure where she was going. It seemed the honorable thing to do after all.

The rest of the weekend was spent asleep, which was definitely needed.
