Soho and Dinner parties

I went out last night with L in Soho, it was last minute thing with no real planning and it nearly didn't happen. Last time we went out for a drink in Soho it was after the Actress (of the adult kind) stood me up for a party and I needed to go and be misogynistic for a while. At the time we thought Soho would be a good place for this due to the rarity of women there. It turned out that this was slightly wrong but we had a great time anyway and ended up in some basement bar drinking wine with some gay Chinese architects.

So this time we went out with a bit less of a goal in mind, I didn't feel the need for total destruction and L was in a rather rummy mood too. We ended up going on a bit of a pub crawl ending up having some extremely strong cocktail in a place that was about to close down. This cocktail absolutely broke us and I ended up accidentally spraying ice everywhere, I am still not entirely sure how. Still a good night all round really.

The Writer has asked me to a dinner party at her house tonight which could be fun, we never slept together (she asked me but the situation would make some other things awkward) but she does have some very good fun friends and owes me a date after I set her up with one of my friends. Either way she is jolly entertaining company and it will be a night full of giggles.
I have absolutely no idea what to wear as I am supposed to be washing things ready for my trip to Miami - perhaps something a touch less caddish for a change, but saying that I have a lovely smoking jacket that really needs an airing.

I wonder if this dinner party will be a repeat of the last one where I ended up befriending a load of porn stars and having a rather naughty experience for the whole of the next day with a sexpert, perhaps I should dress up a bit.
