Packing and Parking

I didn't go to the party at the writers, I couldn't face the trek across London, which was probably a shame but, meh, I do these things. So I spent most of the weekend getting things ready for my holiday, although I haven't actually put anything in a suitcase so far I have spent a lot of time doing packing related things plus a bit of light shopping before the trip, I am trying to save cash for when I get there but the new spring/summer collections are in and I saw the most beautiful pink jumper that I simply must have.

On Sunday evening while watching The OC and digging out my summer clothes, I got a call from The Actress, who wanted to know if the parking machines on the street near where I live were free after 8pm. Yes it is clearly marked on the signs, so I can only assume that she had some other motive for wanting to call me. She mentioned she was meeting someone at the hotel nearby or something, but as I couldn't really care either way an air of affected cool wasn't terribly difficult to produce.

The more I think about it the more I am glad I am not going out with her, she was in essence a pleasant person, a real survivor and she was absolutely devilish in the bedroom but it wasn't like
she was all there when you were talking to her.

Anyway, I have a million and one things to do today before I jet off so I shall have to continue this later.
